Position Summary

Teach courses in Spanish at BA and MA levels, face to face and online. Courses range from introductory to advanced topics in language and linguistics.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in hand by August 2018 in a field related to Spanish Linguistics (specialization open but preference for areas of formal linguistics: e.g. morphology, phonology, syntax); or pragmatics or semantics. Expertise in non-literary translation and/or interpretation a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (optional)

Experience in teaching online and expertise in non-literary translation and/or interpretation are both a plus.

Special Requirements of the Position

Native/near-native proficiency in both Spanish and English. Strong teaching background and active, primary interest in Spanish Linguistics.
